Are your camps for boys or girls?
Will there be "hands-on time" for the kids or is the camp purely informational?
At the end of the one week camp, what will my child be able to do on his/her own?
Does my child need to bring his/her own computer?
Both! Both boys and girls have shown interest in the material and have attended our camps.
Yes, the camps are definitely hands-on. The kids will be learning techniques and then using those techniques on the computer with our assistance.
Your child will learn modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, compositing and more. At the end of a one week camp, your child should be able to do all of these tasks to some degree on their own.
No, everything that they will need is included. We provide state-of-the-art hardware, software and video cameras. In fact, everything we use at camp is the same equipment we use in the industry. Several children have brought their own video cameras in the past and we are absolutely okay with that. However, it is not necessary nor a requirement.
