Are your camps for boys or girls?
All of our camps are co-ed and available to everyone. Both boys and girls have shown interest in the material and have attended our camps.
Will there be "hands-on time" for the kids or is the camp purely informational?
Yes, the camps are definitely hands-on. The kids will be learning techniques and then using those techniques on the computer with our assistance.
How do I know if my computer is powerful enough?
A good rule of thumb is to use a computer that's five years old or newer. If you have any doubt, please install the software prior to registering to ensure it will run well enough.
Where can I get the necessary software for this camp?
You can download and install the latest version of Zoom for free from zoom.us. You'll need to sign in before downloading.
Follow the instructions here to download and install the free trial versions of Maya and Mudbox.
For Adobe After Effects, you can download a 7-day free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps from here. Please note that after the 7-day free trial, you will be billed monthly, so you may want to wait to install the free trial until just before camp starts.
